Mountain Goats were introduced to Kodiak in 1952-53. The mountains and climate on Kodiak make the perfect place for the Mountain Goats to flourish. The goat population is at a ALL TIME HIGH and this is the time to take advantage of hunting this trophy of a lifetime. During your goat hunt, a Sitka Blacktail can also be taken on a trophy fee basis. Kodiak Mountain Goat hunts are currently a drawing hunt. The application deadline is in December and the drawing results are published in early February. We will help you take care of all necessary paperwork.
